I am making over my studio...just a bit. I just bought a new Canon 9500 wide format printer...Booyah! Oh yea, I did. Just like in the book, "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie," it is always, one more thing!
This is a charming tale about how one thing leads to another. This was one of MY favorite books to read to my kids, although I don't think it was one of their favs. I actually think the little mouse had an attention problem and therefore could not stay focused. I am trying harder these days, with all the juggling of life to focus on one thing at a time. I no longer take pride in multi-tasking. I would rather do ONE thing well, and actually REMEMBER what I was doing, than six things horribly and not have a snippet of memory of what I was doing!
So the printer now needed a new table-trip to Ikea... and then the old table went to one of my dualing sewing machines...then the baskets of rolled art paper had to find a new home...then the old printer had to be moved....(fortunately it is a wireless printer and can be untethered to my Imac) It is all good though, and I will definitely be in a better work space. I wonder, is all this just another jaunt down procrastination alley? Well, I'll make that decision when the sound of that new 9500 starts singing in my ears.
